虎岩

結晶片岩の一種。スティルプノメレン（茶褐色）や石墨（黒色）、石英・方解石（白色）などの鉱物が地下深部で層状になり、地殻変動の影響で曲がりくねってできた岩石と考えられています。虎の毛皮の模様にみえることから虎岩と呼ばれているそうです。（2017年11月）

Toraiwa​

Toraiwa is also crystalline schist.  Tora-iwa means "Tiger-Rock" by translation, named because the face of the rock looks patter of tiger skin. It is believed that minerals  such as stilpnomelane, graphite, quarts, calcite were layered at the deep beneath the Earth's surface and subjected to tectonic movement, resulted in the look of curving pattern. （2017.Nov）
