Unosu Dangai(Cliff) 

The series of beautifully aligned cliff appears something like fold screens or mountain ridges. The rock were formed as mudstone and sandstone of accretionary complex 160-140M years ago. This cliff is relatively flat and the corner is rounded, in contrast with Kitayamazaki 10km in the north which originated volcanic activity and is edgy. （2017.July）

鵜ノ巣断崖

1億6000万年～1億4000万年前の付加体の泥岩、砂岩から成る断崖が幾重も並ぶ美しい景色。断崖の高さは200ｍほどだそうです。ここより北にある北山崎は火山起源で荒々しいですが、鵜ノ巣断崖は比較的丸っこく平坦な感じです。（2017年7月）
